It doesn't know who you are
Your website talks about you, but nobody else does. An AI trusts what others say, not what you claim.

Home / GEO consultant
Your customers ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity their questions. The AI answers with three names. GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) is about being one of the three.

A GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) consultant works on your visibility in AI answers: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google's generated answers. Their role is to make sure your brand is understood, judged trustworthy and cited when a customer asks a question.
The problem
Your website talks about you, but nobody else does. An AI trusts what others say, not what you claim.
Pages that sell without ever answering a question. The AI has nothing to extract from them.
One name here, a variant there, a business described differently everywhere. The AI doesn't join the pieces.
Your competitors all look alike. Good.
Fig. 2. Your market, as Google sees it. (You're the purple one. Or you could be.)The answer
I co-wrote “GEO, devenir n°1 sur ChatGPT”. The method comes down to four workstreams.
In detail
I ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Mistral and Perplexity your customers' questions, and note the names given.
A short text saying who you are, what you sell and to whom. It serves as the template for all your online descriptions.
I choose the pages that matter and rewrite them so an AI finds a clear answer and verifiable facts there.
I tell your developer which structured data to add, then check it's being read properly.
I identify the sites AI consults in your market and prepare the steps to get listed on them.
Every month, you see which questions your name comes up for, and which ones it's still missing from.
How it works
You describe your customers and your offers. Together we settle the list of questions to track.
I query the AIs several times on each question. You get the report: who is named, and where the information comes from.
Your description is aligned across the website and your profiles. Priority pages are rewritten.
I approach the media, reputable directories and comparison sites where your business has a reason to appear.
I redo the measurement with the same questions. We decide what comes next based on the differences observed.
Making the choice
| GEO consultant | Agency | In-house | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your point of contact | Me, from the first call to the final review | A project manager, who may change | An employee already busy with other things |
| Experience of the subject | A co-written book on AI, and hands-on practice on my own shops | Varies with the team assigned | To be built, with time spent keeping up |
| Production capacity | Limited, backed by my agency if needed | Large | Your team's |
| What's promised | Work on your sources and regular measurement | Check the contract | Nothing, it's your own organisation |
| Suits you if | You want a direct opinion and a method | You have lots of content to produce | You have someone available and trained |
None of these three options decides what an AI answers. The difference lies in the quality of the work done on your pages and your sources, and in how rigorous the measurement is.

In practice
Pricing
I set the fee after seeing your website and running a few tests in the AIs. It then varies with four factors.
Together, let's devour your competitors.
One by one, and in order. Every spot gained makes the next one easier to take: that's why it keeps growing. See the method
One-minute test
Five frank questions to find out whether support makes sense in your situation. Sometimes the answer is no, and I'll tell you.
In AI answers
More and more customers no longer type a search: they ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Mistral their question, and get two or three names.
To make that shortlist, the AI has to find the same precise description of your business everywhere: on your website, your Google Business Profile, in reviews, in the press. That's what I put in place.
Question asked to an AIWhat quoting and invoicing software for a self-employed tradesperson?
Three solutions are cited most often:

Who you're talking to
My name is Kévin Papot. More than fifteen years in the job, four co-written books, and the Newp agency, co-founded in Charente. I also run my own online shops, in France and internationally: one of them went from zero to a million visits a month.
Before we talk tags, we talk margin, average basket and profitability. When you book a call, I'm the one who picks up.

FAQ
No. AI relies largely on the same sources as Google. Good SEO is the foundation; GEO adds brand clarity and external mentions.
No. Answers vary from one question and one day to the next. What we can do is significantly increase how often your name comes up, and measure it.
The ones your customers use: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and the generated answers in Google.
I've been doing SEO for fifteen years and co-wrote a book on AI. I apply these methods to my own online shops first.
What AI can read and verify: your pages, your business description, the sites that talk about you. The final answer is theirs, and I don't claim to decide it.
Rarely. Usually it's enough to rewrite a few pages and add precise information. If a technical problem prevents the site from being read, I flag it from the first report.
Yes. I provide the guidelines and page templates, they produce, then I review. If you have nobody, my agency can take care of it.
Allow several months to work through the pages, earn mentions and see a change in the measurements. You can stop whenever you like.
I show you as it is. We look at which sources the AIs used, and we change priorities. If I think the work won't bring anything more, I tell you.
